Laila Espinoza is a mixed-media artist combining fiber materials such as thread, yarn and fabric with painting. Her art work is a visual narrative filled with metaphors of dreams and memories. Her use of rich and vibrant colors often contrasting is a representation of the emotional human landscape. And the use of string, is a reminder that we are part of an invisible web where every one of our actions, even our thoughts, affect everyone and everything in the universe-in a word…responsibility.

Most recently Laila has been studying and exploring the relationship between the colors and the chakras and the effect on human well being as well as the transformative power of visualization and creation through art.
Many of her paintings are remembrances of dreams while others are invocations of dreams yet to be full filled.
